Grace Inspired Ministries, along with development partner LNWA (Leon N. Weiner & Associates, Inc.), celebrated the formal groundbreaking ceremony for Sellersville Senior Residences, a 50-unit affordable rental community for older adults aged 55 and over. The event took place Tuesday, June 22 at 11:30 am. Due to inclement weather, the event was moved inside at The Community at Rockhill. The complex is located at the site location at 801 E. Clymer Avenue, Sellersville.
Sellersville Senior Residences will bring much-needed affordable and supportive housing to an area with a growing cost of living and a very limited supply of high-quality, cost-effective, rental housing for seniors. LNWA and GIM were awarded highly competitive Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) and have closed on financing with several banking partners, including Penn Community Bank, as well as the County of Bucks, and the Redevelopment Authority for the County of Bucks.
In addition to representatives of GIM, LNWA, and builder Harkins Builders, Inc., local officials from Sellersville Borough and Bucks County attended.
